Art Race App Reviews

Some of the choices are pretty obvious for the sculptures (if the statue involves a horse, am I going to choose "David" or "Equestrian Statue"? Hmm...), but the paintings are educational. After awhile you can start to recognize an artists style even if you havent seen the painting before.

Im a postgraduate curating student, and Im loving this app! The design could be a bit sleeker and more modern, and theres a small mistake here or there (like calling Van Goghs "Irises" lilies). But in the whole, its addictive, recommendable, informative, and thoroughly enjoyable!

I really enjoy this app for testing my knowledge of art and artists. Would give it 5 stars for an option to turn off the timer so I could enjoy the art more rather than rushing through to finish the level. But overall, I recommend it.

Take an educational quiz journey through tome of the greatest art masterpieces of all time! The only thing that would make this app perfect would be a pinch zoom function, so one could view the art in more intimate detail. Except for that small qualm, its brilliant.

Wonderful game! Strengthened my knowledge and let me discover artists I didnt know. Cant wait for the architecture module! And hope for more levels. So ready for update!

Game is poorly designed. You can get through it in an hour and then theres no point to playing it again. Questions are either ridiculously easy or impossibly hard. The positive reviews must have been written by the game makers. Then they over charged me. Stay away.

I didnt find this to be very educational. Youre just guessing between two artist, many who are over represented in the lower levels. Even if you get it wrong the image is swiped away so quickly that you cant get a sense of the unfamiliar artists styles.
